Ely Office
Six desktop apps for office work, offline, in Rust.

Ely Office is a set of desktop apps for everyday office work, written in Rust on GPUI and built from Ely GPUI components. There is no account to create and no cloud service behind it: your files stay in your own folders, and the apps keep working with the network off.
ElyDoc writes letters, reports, and books. ElyTable does formulas, filters, and charts. ElyShow builds slides with animation and a presenter view. All three open and save Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, and the OpenDocument formats, through LibreOfficeKit.

ElyPDF reads, marks up, fills, and signs PDFs, and finds text even in scanned pages. It runs on MuPDF, with Tesseract for the text recognition, entirely on your own machine.
ElyTree is Git without a terminal: stage lines, commit, and read the branch graph. ElyMark shows Markdown the way it reads, with math and diagrams drawn in place, and opens a file's history in ElyTree.

Mail and an agent app come in the second release. The code is open source under AGPL 3.0, and the apps are introduced at office.elygpui.com.
